Its a dark and cloudy day
And its beginning to drizzle
All I can do is to stare at the sky
Watching the pearly drops and thistle.

I feel cold and lifeless
And my veins are all dry
As a corpse, I lie in a formal dress
To twitch, to move, I can only try.

Vague forms stare down at me
In whispers they speak and discuss
Of what I was and all I could've been
All drab, dull and listless.

Many stand, but only one is crying
I focus hard, "Who is so truly sad?"
Six feet deep, my body is lying
Up on the ground, weeping for my loss I stand.
