These are part of a freelance illustration project i am currently working on.... Very interesting.... Did you know that the ancient aryans wrote in the Rig Veda that Indra was a golden bodied, golden haired and golden bearded kind of gods. And there is a counterpart of his in the zoroastrian avesta, called Verethragna.... guess what.. in rig veda his name is also mentioned as Vrtrahan....
